Frequently Asked Questions
What is unattended mode in inbound palletizing?
Unattended mode means that the palletizing cell (AnyStack) can operate continuously without a human operator present. It automatically detects the product, generates a pattern and deploys it to the available pallet.
What if the container contains more than one SKU?
The system detects different products and does sortation. Usually 2 to 4 pallets are available.
What happens if there are more products than the available pallets?
If the system detects a product that does not fit the current pallets being built, the item is stored at a temporary buffer.
Can AnyStack detect products with a damaged barcode or no barcode at all?
Yes. The perception system combines information on dimensions, barcodes (if available) and distinct elements on the product that can help identify it.
Can the robot communicate with the WMS/WCS?
Yes. The robot can transfer information to the WMS.
