Wraps upright, in line with the filler
Eliminates the labor and expense of laying vertical product down before wrapping.
The sister machine to Texwrap’s CSS Series side sealers, these vertical sealers apply the CSS horizontal wrapper technology to products in the upright position. They wrap multipacks of products such as bottles, cans, jars or canisters directly from a filler.

The BVS vertical sealers are ideally suited to multipacks or variety packs that exit upstream equipment in a vertical position. Packagers can shrink wrap these packs without the labor and expense of laying them down before wrapping on side sealing systems. The BVS also eliminates the need for a “boot” to collate the product before sealing. The end result is a very secure and attractive package.
To further enhance retail appearance, the BVS can be combined with an optional Automatic Label Positioning System (Orientor), so all the labels in a multipack face precisely the same direction. Where the boot was also used to hide bar codes, the packager can use printed film or a label to hide them and identify the new unit as a multipack, creating the most attractive and secure package. Texwrap does not use a bottom lap seal, which can fail, or an unsightly side seam on the face of the package. Its exclusive Versa Seal system creates a full, secure bottom trim seal instead.
The BVS-914 and the larger BVS-1418 are moderate-speed, continuous-motion vertical shrink systems that run products in an upright position. Both reach speeds up to 70 packs per minute on a precise-sealing, centerline design. They bring the advantages of vertical wrapping to products such as bottles, jars or cans in slower in-line or even off-line applications. The maximum product size is 9” W x 14” H on the BVS-914 and 14” W x 18” H on the BVS-1418. Both are perfect for contract packagers, where products are often loaded by hand to form multipacks of an item.
BVS Series systems use Texwrap Versa Seal technology, which ensures a consistent, quality seal at high speed. They are robust enough to run continuously, 3 shifts per day, 7 days a week. The rugged yet simple design of the patented TVS sealing system produces the ultimate in consistent seal quality across a broad range of film types and gauges, with little or no adjustment. Very few moving parts, no air and an uncoated sealing element ensure consistent seal quality with very little maintenance.
Each machine has Texwrap’s patented Motion Trim™ technology and conveyor speeds up to 140 feet per minute, so it maximizes speed yet minimizes wear on moving parts. Made-in-the-USA quality and customer support and Texwrap’s industry-leading 10-Year Built-Better Backed-Better Warranty ensure the lowest total cost of ownership in the industry.
