MFC2000 Multi-Format Case Erector

The weight and size of a case have a major impact on transport costs. This case erector delivers the size of box required on demand and is ideally suited for e-commerce and logistics environments. It can be equipped with up to 4 blank magazines, depending on the number of case sizes required, and is configurable for large case sizes. Machine jams often happen at transition points through the erecting process. To combat this, the components of each Lantech case erector work in concert to produce solid, square cases without jamming.

Features & Capabilities

  • Ergonomic blank loadingThe magazines are easy to load, and blanks can be replenished while the machine operates. Magazine adjustments are simple and fast.
  • Blank delivery controlPowered belts precisely govern the delivery speed of the case blanks. Blank retainers ensure the blanks are spaced correctly.
  • Blank separationSpecial separators release only the leading blank to the transfer unit and retain the following blanks.
  • Square case erectingEight vacuum-powered suction cups hold the blank in the correct position after it is taken over from the transfer unit. Both leading panels are held securely.
  • Stationary flap foldingOnce the case is square, it is kept square by folding the flaps while it is stationary. This makes the case rigid and locks in the 90-degree angles.
  • Square case transitionA pusher bar, parallel to the rear wall of the case, pushes it into the sealing section, where spring-loaded side belts automatically adjust for any width variations.
  • Randomly handles various case sizes
  • Large case size range
  • Tape or hot melt closing
