Concurrent Stretch Wrapping
TopTier is the global leader in concurrent stretch wrapping technology. Concurrent wrapping saves floor space and lowers overall end-of-line costs…
Labor shortages continue to challenge manufacturers across every industry: qualified operators are harder to find, and when labor is available, costs continue to rise. Many facilities are turning to automation to stabilize operations, but affordability and limited floor space remain major concerns. These traditional low-infeed palletizers are designed specifically to address those challenges, delivering reliable automation in a compact, cost-effective solution.

These palletizers are available with integrated stretch wrapping and have the smallest footprint in the industry. Concurrent stretch wrapping and a compact modular design optimize floor space while maintaining high throughput. TopTier’s low-level palletizers deliver maximum efficiency and unmatched flexibility for businesses that demand performance and adaptability.
The new TTX Series combines proven mechanical design with advanced automation technology to deliver faster cycle times, improved load stability and simplified operation for demanding production environments. Its EZ Turn technology is engineered to improve product handling throughout the palletizing process, ensuring smooth, controlled product rotation and placement for faster cycle times, reduced product disturbance and more consistent pallet builds, even at higher production rates. A 10-inch HMI operator interface provides an intuitive, user-friendly experience that minimizes training time and operator error, letting operators quickly manage pallet patterns, system settings and diagnostics and making daily operation and changeovers faster and easier than ever. The upgraded pallet dispenser frame has been redesigned for easier and safer pallet reloading, with integrated fork-entry cutouts that allow forklifts to place pallets more accurately and efficiently, reducing reload time and improving overall uptime.
The TTX Series includes an integrated stretch wrapper with Auto Film Break Recovery. If the stretch film breaks during the wrapping cycle, the system does not stop. The film carriage automatically pays out the film to the load, reattaches it and completes the wrap cycle, keeping production moving without operator intervention. The wrapper is also upgraded with Robopac’s Cube Technology for advanced load control and material efficiency. It sets multiple wrap recipes per load, creates custom wrap profiles for different products and pallet types, automatically applies the correct containment force every time and reduces film usage without sacrificing load stability, so every pallet is wrapped consistently and efficiently, improving load integrity while lowering operating costs.
The TTL Series is an affordable automation solution with a small footprint. One of its key advantages is its integrated palletizing and stretch wrapping design, which combines both processes in a single system instead of separate machines. As each pallet load is built, it is stretch wrapped simultaneously, eliminating the need for a downstream wrapper. This significantly reduces overall equipment cost while minimizing floor space, so facilities can palletize and stretch wrap loads efficiently with one compact machine without expanding their footprint. Proven Lift and Rotate product handling, a traditional palletizing method, accurately rotates products for precise placement during layer building, ensuring consistent stacking, reliable load formation and dependable performance across a wide range of products. A 7-inch HMI operator interface minimizes training time and reduces operator error, letting operators quickly manage pallet patterns, adjust system settings and access diagnostics and system status. This simplicity makes daily operation and changeovers faster and easier, even with minimal staffing.
Smart modular engineering uses shared modules. Common functional modules and frame systems reduce costs through manufacturing and controls efficiencies and provide layout flexibility by adapting to each facility’s needs, while consistent, precise manufacturing ensures long-term reliability. TopTier’s modular component systems deliver unmatched flexibility in palletizer configuration and product handling. While engineered with complex, high-performance designs, each system is straightforward to install, operate and maintain, and no customization is needed. The orientation of the induction and load exit can be configured to match exact requirements.
TopTier is the global leader in palletizing systems with built-in concurrent stretch wrapping, a patented solution that saves floor space, reduces consumable use and lowers overall end-of-line costs. Unlike traditional setups that require separate wrapping machines, the integrated design wraps each load as it is built, stabilizing it immediately and streamlining the packaging process. The stretch wrapper is built directly into the palletizer, so no extra floor space is required. It eliminates the need for a separate wrapper, reduces the use of tie sheets, and leaves loads ready for transport directly from the palletizer. Wrapping during the build locks unstable or interlocked loads into place immediately. Film dispensing is based on load size and load position, achieving higher film pre-stretch with improved reliability and load containment.
The stretch wrapping is optimized for palletizer integration, delivering consistent wrap performance with no impact on throughput. It is designed for reliability, enabling continuous palletizing operations without interruptions and making it ideal for high-demand environments. Film break auto-recovery is standard. If film breaks during wrapping, the machine automatically detects and corrects it, overwrapping the affected section and resuming operation without stopping production or requiring operator input, ensuring load retention without downtime. By integrating stretch wrapping directly into the palletizer, TopTier delivers a compact, all-in-one solution that reduces capital equipment costs, simplifies maintenance and shortens the line’s footprint without sacrificing performance.
With the optional Perfect Pattern Induction, continuous infeed product processing allows slower speeds for gentle product handling. Products are squared prior to row build, allowing perfectly spaced rows, and each product length is measured to confirm product orientation prior to row build. Rare defectively oriented products can be automatically rejected, or an alarm can initiate operator intervention. Products are precisely positioned on row build, allowing accurate electronic gapping of rows that avoids product collisions.
Optional sheets handling inserts pallet liners with a horizontally traveling vacuum pick-and-place device, and tie sheets, freezer sheets, slip sheets and top caps with a vertically and horizontally traveling vacuum pick-and-place device capable of placing a sheet at any level of the load. Sheets are inserted at the load build position for unitized loads, and tie sheet inserters can be equipped with up to three pick positions, allowing separate sheet styles. On low-infeed palletizers, sheets are loaded into an 18"-capacity drawer that can be safely loaded during palletizer operations. Sheet bins are loaded with no interruption of operations. Sheets less than 60" in either dimension are handled, including 2-, 3- or 4-tab models, and capacity is 18" of sheets.
