Value Robotic Pick-and-Place Palletizer

Robotic palletizing has become an increasingly accepted alternative to traditional layer palletizing, but it is not without challenges. Typical generic robotic palletizers are limited in the products they can handle, have performance issues with deviations in product uniformity, need special training for the complexities of robot programming, and bring a large footprint, custom integration and the expense of support. This robotic palletizer eliminates all of these shortcomings.

Facilities seeking automation without sacrificing valuable floor space benefit from this small-footprint robotic palletizer, designed for efficient integration into existing operations. The compact palletizer supports streamlined installation while helping manufacturers maximize available production areas. With intuitive operation and adaptable configuration options, it can accommodate evolving packaging demands while maintaining dependable performance. Its space-conscious design makes it an attractive choice for operations focused on productivity and long-term scalability.

The Value Palletizer is the smallest, safest and most capable palletizing solution in its class. Designed to palletize virtually any product type, it is the perfect solution for low- to moderate-rate applications that demand flexibility, reliability and safety.

The palletizer is a fully integrated, purpose-built palletizing solution rather than an assembly of a robot, guarding and end-of-arm tooling with separate controls. Each frame element is an integral part of a Category 3 PLd controlled-entrance safety enclosure. The 100% bottom-supporting row build and pick-and-place systems are integrated into the frame structure, including the Allen-Bradley controls. Safety is not an accessory: the integrated safety system with controlled entrance protocols prevents hazards until it affirms that safe conditions exist.

Nearly all robotic pick-to-pallet solutions are limited to products suitable for vacuum top picking, with rate potential limited by single-case pick-to-pallet cycles. The Value Palletizer overcomes these limitations by combining patented row-building technology with an Allen-Bradley servo-controlled row pick-and-place solution in which product is 100% bottom supported until it is deposited on the load. The resulting solution achieves higher rates, handles nearly any product and is delivered 100% assembled and ready for work in the smallest and most configurable footprint available.

Optional sheets handling inserts pallet liners with a horizontally traveling vacuum pick-and-place device, and tie sheets, freezer sheets, slip sheets and top caps with a vertically and horizontally traveling vacuum pick-and-place device capable of placing a sheet at any level of the load. Sheets are inserted at the load build position for unitized loads, and tie sheet inserters can be equipped with up to three pick positions, allowing separate sheet styles. Sheet bins are loaded with no interruption of operations. Sheets less than 60" in either dimension are handled, including 2-, 3- or 4-tab models, and capacity is 18" of sheets.
