PALTZ.CXX-DEPV Cobot Palletizer with AI Vision for Depalletizing

Unload pallets as well as build them. This cobot palletizer pairs a mobile PALTZ base with STACKiT AI Vision for depalletizing and repalletizing. It handles cases up to 25 kg (55 lb) at up to 6 PPM across two pallet zones. STACKiT software needs no programming.

Over 700,000 configurations

Start here and add safety scanners or fencing, reach, slip sheet handling and other modules. Each unit is tailored to exact requirements and ships with short lead times.

Portable and running within an hour

Units roll on casters, plug into standard 120V power and shop air, and go from mobile to fully deployed in under 5 minutes. Standard setups need no on-site risk assessment.

No programming or robotics skills required

STACKiT software and the skewed infeed conveyor eliminate programming and calibration. Operators enter case dimensions, case weight and pallet size, and STACKiT generates the stacking pattern.

Handles all package types

Boxes, bags, cans, trays, bottles and buckets are handled with standard vacuum or mechanical end-of-arm tools, with custom tools available for unique products.

PALTZ is beRobox's plug-and-play palletizer and depalletizer. It is built to be the most flexible and user-friendly solution on the market for palletizing, depalletizing and repalletizing. beRobox designs and builds every unit in North America and tailors it to the application. An in-house engineering and development team handles custom projects.

This configuration adds the Depal & Repal module with STACKiT AI Vision to a collaborative PALTZ unit. The unit can then depalletize and repalletize as well as palletize. The figures shown are for a 25 kg (55 lb) unit at collaborative speed: up to 6 PPM, with stacks up to 60 inches. Customers can choose the Doosan H2017, Universal Robots UR20, Doosan P3020 or FANUC CRX-30iA cobot.

Features & Capabilities

  • Collaborative RobotChoose a Doosan H2017, Universal Robots UR20, Doosan P3020 or FANUC CRX-30iA cobot. The figures shown are for a 25 kg (55 lb) unit.
  • STACKiT AI Vision for DepalletizingDetects cases with AI, calibrates itself automatically and adapts to real-world pallet conditions, so the unit can depalletize and repalletize with no manual setup.
  • Two Palletizing ZonesA pallet position on each side of the robot, so an operator can swap a full pallet while the robot keeps building on the other.
  • Infeed Skewed ConveyorSkewed rollers align each case against one side of the conveyor, giving the robot a consistent pick position.
  • Pallet Locators with Sensors
  • Product Presence SensorDetects when a case is in position and ready to pick.
  • 15" Touch Screen HMIRuns STACKiT for setup, operation and a live view of palletizing progress.
  • Pneumatic or Electric GripperChoose a pneumatic gripper, which needs compressed air, or an electric gripper.
  • Variable Multi-Pick CapableChanges how many cases the robot takes from one pick to the next, for example one case, then two, to build complex pallet patterns. One to two cases per pick is standard; three or more is an option.

STACKiT

Palletizing software built for operators, not programmers

STACKiT is beRobox's own palletizing and depalletizing software, and every PALTZ runs it. Setup takes four steps: define the case (dimensions, weight and label position if needed), set up the pallet (dimensions and stack limits for maximum pallet weight and height), build the pattern (automatic or custom) and configure the stack (layers and slipsheets). A live view tracks palletizing progress.

STACKiT AI Vision

Depalletize and repalletize with auto-calibrated AI vision

The Depal & Repal module depalletizes and repalletizes from known pallet pattern data or with patent-pending STACKiT AI Vision. The vision system detects cases with AI, calibrates itself automatically and adapts to real-world pallet conditions, with no manual setup. It also supports automatic variable multipick, plans efficient robot paths and shows real-time 3D visual feedback.
