PALTZ Collaborative Robot Palletizers

PALTZ collaborative palletizers bring simple, safe, plug-and-play palletizing and depalletizing to any floor. Built with Universal Robots, Doosan and FANUC cobots with payloads up to 30 kg, they suit small to mid-scale production and tight spaces, work alongside operators and grow with the operation, from a basic two-zone palletizer to high-reach, multi-SKU and AI vision configurations.

Over 700,000 configurations

Choose the robot, safety, reach, end-of-arm tooling and other modules that fit the application. Each unit is tailored to exact requirements and ships with short lead times.

Portable and running within an hour

Units roll on casters, plug into standard 120V power and shop air, and go from mobile to fully deployed in under 5 minutes. Standard setups need no on-site risk assessment.

No programming or robotics skills required

STACKiT software and the skewed infeed conveyor eliminate programming and calibration. Operators enter case dimensions, case weight and pallet size, and STACKiT generates the stacking pattern.

Handles all package types

Boxes, bags, cans, trays, bottles and buckets are handled with standard vacuum or mechanical end-of-arm tools, with custom tools available for unique products.

PALTZ is beRobox's plug-and-play palletizer and depalletizer, built to be the most flexible and user-friendly solution on the market for palletizing, depalletizing and repalletizing. beRobox designs and builds every unit in North America, tailors it to the application and backs it with an in-house engineering and development team for custom projects.

The collaborative series covers 20, 25 and 30 kg payloads on Doosan H2017 and P3020, Universal Robots UR20 and FANUC CRX-30iA cobots. Popular configurations range from the base portable unit and the streamlined PALTZ.GO to versions with area safety sensors or collapsible fencing, a riser or vertical lift for taller stacks, a 90° or dual infeed, a double-entry conveyor for two SKUs, and STACKiT AI Vision for depalletizing and repalletizing.

In one food-manufacturing application, a PALTZ.CS25 combining zone scanners with multipick moves two cases per robot cycle and handles up to 22 cases per minute while staying fully collaborative.

Features & Capabilities

  • Two Palletizing ZonesA pallet position on each side of the robot, so an operator can swap a full pallet while the robot keeps building on the other.
  • Infeed Skewed ConveyorSkewed rollers align each case against one side of the conveyor, giving the robot a consistent pick position.
  • Pallet Locators with Sensors
  • Product Presence SensorDetects when a case is in position and ready to pick.
  • 15" Touch Screen HMIRuns STACKiT for setup, operation and a live view of palletizing progress.
  • Pneumatic or Electric GripperChoose a pneumatic gripper, which needs compressed air, or an electric gripper.
  • Variable Multi-PickChanges how many cases each pick takes, one on one cycle and several on the next, to build complex pallet patterns and raise throughput. 1 to 2 cases is standard; 3 or more is optional.
  • High Reach: Vertical Lift or RiserOptional. A vertical lift or a riser extends the robot's reach so it can palletize taller loads.
  • Remote StationOptional. A complete station with a mirroring screen, or a simple button station, for managing the palletizer away from the cell.
  • Slipsheet PlacementOptional. Places slipsheets within the pallet pattern and handles rigid, semi-rigid or flexible sheets.
  • MiR AMR IntegrationOptional. Integrates with MiR autonomous mobile robots, linking palletizing to internal transport in one end-of-line flow.

STACKiT

Palletizing software built for operators, not programmers

STACKiT is beRobox's own palletizing and depalletizing software, and every PALTZ runs it. Setup takes four steps: define the case (dimensions, weight and label position if needed), set up the pallet (dimensions and stack limits for maximum pallet weight and height), build the pattern (automatic or custom) and configure the stack (layers and slipsheets). A live view tracks palletizing progress.

STACKiT AI Vision

Depalletize and repalletize with auto-calibrated AI vision

The Depal & Repal module depalletizes and repalletizes from known pallet pattern data or with patent-pending STACKiT AI Vision. The vision system detects cases with AI, calibrates itself automatically and adapts to real-world pallet conditions, with no manual setup. It also supports automatic variable multipick, plans efficient robot paths and shows real-time 3D visual feedback.

Run faster and stack higher with zone scanners or fencing

Run faster and stack higher with zone scanners or fencing

Add area zone scanners or collapsible hard fencing and the cobot can run at full production speed instead of collaborative speed, and palletize taller stacks. On the 20 kg Doosan units, maximum speed rises from 6 to 11 PPM. The fencing collapses, so the unit stays portable.

Palletize two SKUs at once on one palletizer

Palletize two SKUs at once on one palletizer

The Multi SKUs module lets one PALTZ handle two different products at the same time, building a separate pallet for each in its two palletizing zones. Products are kept apart by a barcode reader that identifies each case, by parallel conveyors or by a double-entry infeed conveyor.
