PALTZ.CS25 25kg Cobot Palletizer with Safety Scanners, Universal Robots UR20

Zone scanners, not fencing, let this UR20 cobot palletizer run at up to 11 PPM. It handles cases up to 25 kg (55 lb) and stacks up to 85 in. The mobile PALTZ base carries two pallet zones and an infeed skewed conveyor. Setup needs no programming.

Over 700,000 configurations

Start from the CS25 and add reach, slip sheet handling, depalletizing and other modules. Each unit is tailored to exact requirements and ships with short lead times.

Portable and running within an hour

Units roll on casters, plug into standard 120V power and shop air, and go from mobile to fully deployed in under 5 minutes. Standard setups need no on-site risk assessment.

No programming or robotics skills required

STACKiT software and the skewed infeed conveyor eliminate programming and calibration. Operators enter case dimensions, case weight and pallet size, and STACKiT generates the stacking pattern.

Handles all package types

Boxes, bags, cans, trays, bottles and buckets are handled with standard vacuum or mechanical end-of-arm tools, with custom tools available for unique products.

PALTZ is beRobox's plug-and-play palletizer and depalletizer. It is built to be the most flexible and user-friendly solution on the market for palletizing, depalletizing and repalletizing. beRobox designs and builds every unit in North America and tailors it to the application. An in-house engineering and development team handles custom projects.

The PALTZ.CS25, the safety-scanner version of the PALTZ.C25, is a cobot palletizing cell with a Universal Robots UR20 cobot, a 25 kg (55 lb) payload, two pallet zones and an infeed skewed conveyor. The unit stays plug-and-play: it rolls on casters, and STACKiT builds the pallet pattern.

Features & Capabilities

  • Universal Robots UR20 Collaborative RobotA 25 kg payload cobot that works alongside operators.
  • Safety Zone ScannersThe robot runs at full speed whenever the work area is clear and slows automatically only when an operator enters the safety zone.
  • Two Palletizing ZonesA pallet position on each side of the robot, so an operator can swap a full pallet while the robot keeps building on the other.
  • Infeed Skewed ConveyorSkewed rollers align each case against one side of the conveyor, giving the robot a consistent pick position.
  • Pallet Locators with Sensors
  • Product Presence SensorDetects when a case is in position and ready to pick.
  • 15" Touch Screen HMIRuns STACKiT for setup, operation and a live view of palletizing progress.
  • Pneumatic or Electric GripperChoose a pneumatic gripper, which needs compressed air, or an electric gripper.
  • Variable Multi-Pick CapableChanges how many cases the robot takes from one pick to the next, for example one case, then two, to build complex pallet patterns. One to two cases per pick is standard; three or more is an option.

STACKiT

Palletizing software built for operators, not programmers

STACKiT is beRobox's own palletizing and depalletizing software, and every PALTZ runs it. Setup takes four steps: define the case (dimensions, weight and label position if needed), set up the pallet (dimensions and stack limits for maximum pallet weight and height), build the pattern (automatic or custom) and configure the stack (layers and slipsheets). A live view tracks palletizing progress.

Full speed when the area is clear, slower only when someone enters
Safety Zone Scanners

Full speed when the area is clear, slower only when someone enters

The zone scanner lets the robot run at full speed whenever the work area is clear and automatically slows it only when an operator enters the safety zone. In a beRobox food application, a PALTZ.CS25 went from 6 to 11 cycles per minute with the safety module and, with multipick moving two cases per cycle, handled up to 22 cases per minute.
